Hey All,
So I thought I would give a quick update to let you know that I have been doing some collaborative work recently with film scoring music and co-writing lyrical songs. I will be posting some new tunes shortly….
Stay tuned 🙂

Hey All,
So its been a while since my last blog post; Â I thought it’d be a great time to give you all an update on where things are at.
I am still living in Sydney with 2 main components in my life: Church and Work. I have continued to serve in Hillsong Church and truly have become a part of a massive body of believers. Â I have become and integrated part of the Creative team at the City Campus, honoured to look after the keys players that help carry our services week in and week out. There has been opportunity to contribute to the creative process in our church songs as well which has been amazing; Â I only expect things to grow.
Connected with Church, I have become of a great family of friends call “BOOM” :). Â They are my connect group and I love them dearly. We have gone through some great times together and know we have each other’s backs in any situation. Â OUr bound was formed over a love for God through worship, prayer, and community. Â I am a group “elder” and look after our worship. Â Here is a small selection of them:
“One More Breath” has been my statement of conviction over the last few weeks. It kind of sums up a few different thoughts so I’ll break it down a bit.
God has been dealing with me a lot lately about investing in people, taking the moments of life to build relationship with others and share the love of Christ with them; not in just face value, but REAL relationship. The time you share in a “meet and greet” is not the same as when you sit and eat. Time invested in a person’s life instantly places value on them, building more than just an aquaintence, but rather a friend; that is real relationship.
In the lead up to Encounter (our youth ministry’s conference-like event) I have been inspired to take these few practical steps that will hopefully continue through and beyond this amazing time with our God and each other… Here they are:
1. Know >> get to know people you wouldn’t normally. The shy person at work, the lonely person who hangs at the back of a church service, the volunteer stacking chairs…
2. Love >> once you know about them, care! the person stacking chairs has as many events/hurts/fears/ etc in their world as you do. Show genuine interest and intiative to help them and do life with them.
3. Believe >> this is the final and most import step as it takes someone from where they are to where they hope to be. Getting along side of someone, believing in them, empowering them to take their next step in life…
I remember times in my own life when people have believed in me and helped me progress in life… It’s the best feeling ever!! Taking just that extra fee seconds can really change someone’s word.
In all I’ve said, remember this:
In the moments of life, stop and see, who is around you, to engage and believe in; through “one more breath” they’ll never be the same again.
Much Love//

Well, its here! The end of my college life. I have finished my 3 years at Hillsong International Leadership College and have loved every moment of it. These last three years have shaped the destiny of my life.
It’ll be interesting for me these next few months as I progress into new avenues of life. Stay tuned.

Hey All,
Well.. I seem to take longer and longer to write on this thing. My life has been so FULL this past while. With me almost finishing college, I’m finally starting to write a bit again. Working 3 days a week at My Mac Academy in Sydney, being a part of an amazing church at Hillsong City, and other amazing experiences have made life very diverse and exciting… life is good.
You may notice I took away some of my direct purchasing options for my CD… actually anything to do with Black Diamond Tailored Rods. My mom closed the business so I no longer use its facilities. If you have any questions just use the contact page.
Much love//

Hey Everyone,
Here is a letter I wrote to my church back in Canada recently. I thought it summed up my life at the moment pretty good so I thought I’d post it.

Dear FWC,
It’s been a while since my last update, so I thought I’d fill you in.
Last December I finished my 2nd year of the Diploma of Ministry program at Hillsong International Leadership College (HILC). It has been an awesome experience so far, filled with amazing opportunities and impartation for world impact ministry in my life.
Some of these experiences have included playing for Hillsong Women and oversighting Hillsong Men Worship (gender specific services held at city every Friday), playing for 2 combined Hillsong women services at Hills (one with Darlene Zschech), leading worship and playing for college chapel almost every week, leading worship as the City representative in a combined Hills/City chapel, leading worship for the 2 main Sunday day service at Hillsong City (as a representative of college on college promotion weekend), etc, as well receiving classes from key Hillsong pastors/team members. They have been truly humbling experiences that I credit to God’s orchestration (it’s certainly not because my abilities… ha ha).
Around July last year God confronted me through a very powerful word to re-think and re-check plans for next year. On the current course, I was planning to finish out my 2nd year, receive my diploma and live in Wollongong (with my mom) until I knew my next move. A great church (South Coast City Church: http://thirroul.sccc.com.au) is located there and I had planned to continue ministering there until I felt God’s prompting for something new. Of course, as it turned out, He wanted something a bit different.
God presented me with the option of not finishing at Hillsong, but rather taking another year in the diploma course (taking the Advanced Diploma of Ministry). This 3rd year would be quite different from the previous 2, as it would involve me moving to inner Sydney, making Hillsong my home church, and becoming an intern at the church. The 3rd year is heavily made up of an internship component with only 1 day of classes a week.
In seeking God on the matter of 2008, the opportunity presented itself to intern with the Worship & Creative Arts department at Hillsong City Campus (there are 2 campuses at Hillsong in Sydney: Hills and City). Through a long a thoughtful process I was accepted into the 3rd year program on December 5th, 2008, and assigned to intern with Gabriel Kelly (the worship pastor over musicians at Hillsong City and the drummer for Hillsong United when they go on tour). He is an amazing man of God who understands big vision, world, impact, and is simply a cool guy.
Of course coming with this new adventure is also cost! The necessity of moving out of my mother’s place on my own has put some financial strain on me and I am carefully pooling my resources so that I can pay for tuition, rent, etc. God has been helping me with small blessings here and there, and I know this year will be a huge lesson of relying on him. Please pray God will supply the right jobs and/or provision during this 3rd year of college.
I am very excited for this year as I can only imagine what God has in store for not only me, but for the whole world. There is a lot of shifting going on in the world at the moment and I believe God is preparing his church for something fresh in 2008.
Thank you for all of your love and support,
Aaron
Hey Everyone,
So here they are… a couple of demo (full-length) recordings of up-coming songs. Check the myspace music player on my profile for “You Are My King” and “Hearts Alive” (they’ll be at the top of the playlist). Please place comments about the songs on my MySpace blog :).

PS… I’ve also changed the url for my profile from myspace.com/aarondavid10 to myspace.com/aarondavidofficial. If you have any links using the old address, I’d appreciate if you changed it :)… Note: this won’t affect me being in your friends list/top friends for you MySpacers 😉
